Project Highlights

The owners of this house wanted walnut stained timber floors right from the start, but originally had decided on Lo-Sheen Polyurethane for the finish. One of the rooms in the house was a pool room with a full size pool table. With the cost of removing the pool table being quite expensive we came up with the solution to sand half of the room, finishing it off then slide the pool table across the large room and finish off the rest. After seeing that part of the timber floor with Lo-Sheen Polyurethane they wanted to change the stained timber floors to gloss. The traditional high gloss timber floors are often referred to as a ball room finish.

When the owner's of this home were deciding on the finish, we showed them photos of a recent floor sanding job at Merewether which had walnut stained timber floors with a Lo- Sheen Polyurethane finish. It was no trouble at all for us to provide high gloss timber floor finishing
