The owners employed the services of a local builder to do the renovations on their family home. The house had existing old Cypress pine timber floors, we carried out extensive level sanding in preparation for the new timber floors to be laid.

A select grade Blackbutt timber floor was installed. Floor Sanding Blackbutt timber flooring is best left to an expert, with timber being so expensive. I've seen people spend tens of thousands on new timber then try to do the finishing with inferior hire machines.

Sanding Approach

Our advanced sanding systems are tailored to the unique needs of the timber. Using modern and traditional craftsmanship revealing a smooth surface ready for coating, firstly applying a special Sealer with tannin blockers. This makes the floor lighter and greatly reduces yellowing. With 3 coats being applied to the timber flooring finishing with Lo-Sheen Polyurethane. This floor sanding project not only enhanced the visual appeal of the home but also added value with the very desirable Blackbutt timber flooring.
